SHAREit is an app that has been at the top of the market for a long time. It is an application used to send and receive files between different devices, whether Windows, iOS, Android, PC or Windows Phone.
As a general rule, the process for sharing files was to have the application installed on both devices, but SHAREit has introduced a new feature called WebShare that works over a Wi-Fi connection.
With SHAREit WebShare, files can be sent from a device that has SHAREit installed to other devices that do not have SHAREit installed.
This basically means that the device must receive the files does not have to have SHAREit installed.
If you want to use SHAREit WebShare and send files through it, just follow these steps:
- First, download the latest version of SHAREit and then open it. Once you have configured it, don’t click on the “Send” button, if you don’t click on the “More” button or you will easily see a cube that you will find on the screen.
- Once you click on it, you will see the “WebShare” option, then click on it. Choose the files you want to send and click “Send”. You will then see a screen that tells you to connect to the hotspot.image 1.
- To connect to the hotspot, go to the Wifi network settings and connect to the hotspot of the person you want to send the files to. Once the connection is established, you have to open the browser and put the following URL in the navigation bar: http://192.168.43.1:2999 , or you also have the option to scan the QR code that is being displayed on the sender’s mobile device.
- Once this is done, you will see the option to download the files, then click “Download”. Don’t worry, you don’t need to use the Internet. The files will be downloaded to your device at some point.
Just share what is web-based. There is no longer any need to install the SHAREit application on the device.
